Governments shift to pro driver training

Founder of Russell White says he’s delighted to see governments start to acknowledge that professional driver training saves lives.

In recent days the NSW government announced plans to allow learner drivers to log fewer hours before progressing to their provisional license if they undertake a safe driving course.

The state’s roads minister Duncan Gay said “Currently there’s lots of skills training but frankly there’s no safety training, We need to get that clear message about what a projectile a car is and how dangerous it can be.”
